Our aspiration

Our vision is to make co-leadership – what we call the noble partnership – (1) more widely known, (2) more effectively practiced, and (3) more durably woven into the DNA of many organizations.

First, more widely known, by telling the stories of great partners who have gone before us, whether adventurers like Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, co-founders like Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, co-leaders in a family like Walt and Roy Disney, or the many thousands of co-leaders who have practiced inside organizations like the Mayo Clinic, Toyota, and the U.S. Armed Forces.

Second, more effectively practiced, by (a) offering a design toolkit to get pairs of co-leaders started, (b) offering course work and coaching for more experienced co-leaders to troubleshoot common challenges and perfect their partnership, and (c) building a community of practitioners who can learn from one another’s experiences.

Third, more durably woven into organizational DNA, by (a) guiding organizations that want to weave partnership into who they are, (b) increasing the number of coaches who are capable of acting as a guide to design, pilot, and scale a reliable co-leadership methodology.
